Graffiti Is the Poor Man's Advertising Campaign

"As long as our cities are filled with advertising they will be filled with graffiti. Graffiti is the poor man's ad campaign. You can argue about one campaign being legal and the other illegal but the visual difference is purely academic."

Los Angeles based television network KCET recently produced a video discussing billboards and graffiti on billboards. The video features Too Tall Jahmal, founder of Los Angeles based graffiti website, 50mmlosangeles.com, as well as billboard graffiti maverick Augor.
