Illadel Ink Mops Put to the Test

Everyone knows about Krink markers, but have you heard of Illadel? Illadel ink mops are handmade in Philadelphia and are filled with opaque ink. Just like the Oink ink, it is difficult to buff and is fade resistant.

If you squeeze the bottle, the paint drips, if you don't squeeze the bottle the paint comes out smooth without drips. Because of the heavy duty nib, it works on most surfaces.

Mear One in Las Vegas and San Francisco

I was recently visiting sin city Las Vegas. Walking on the Las Vegsa strip, I could not believe my eyes. Right next to the MGM Grand hotel, there is a giant Mear mural promoting Madden NFL '09 for PSP. It is so large, Mear had to have painted it on site. Graffiti is now part of the Las Vegas strip. Prins From Denmark

We got some pictures from Prins from Odense, Denmark.


Prins has been writing since 1985 and was the first to do a top to bottom freight in Odense in 1990. He did his first piece in 1987 and has been painting for the past 21 years and still going strong.

Writer Spotlight - Jaber

For obvious reasons, most graffiti writers stay fairly close to where they live. If you live on the west side, you may venture out to Downtown LA. People from the valley may once in a while come to Los Angeles. Then there are those writers who travel the country and the world. Meeting of Styles Oakland 2008

We received some pictures from the Meeting of Styles held in Oakland, California on September 19, 2008. Apparently, the event was supposed to occur in Los Angeles but due to issues with the city it had to be held elsewhere. The show was dedicated to the memory of Dream TDK.

Bombin Magazine in Barnes & Noble and Borders

So I got the news from Bombin Magazine that the latest issue is available at Barnes & Noble and Borders. I had to check this out myself, I did not think that any main stream book store would carry a graffiti magazine with 2 children on the cover with one holding a shotgun. I took a trip to the local Borders in Los Angeles. To my pleasant surprise, I did find the issue on the rack. Go out and support!
