A few weeks ago we reported that
a bunch of pieces got anonymously dissed in LA's Arts District. It turns out that it was done by a couple of so called artists that were showing at R & R Gallery a block away from those walls. They also dissed a mural a block away by Shepard Fairey.
"Jeremy Williams of District Millworks located across the street from the mural, recognized the marks as being from R & R Gallery's current show. ...he followed up by calling the gallery the next day and spoke with owner C.W. Mihlenberger, who said his gallery represented the two artists. Mihlenberger defended their actions and said they’d defaced the mural because, 'it was getting old.'
According to Jerald, after an exchange of calls from him, and pressure from neighborhood advocates, Mihlenberger has agreed to pay for the repair of the Shepard Fairey mural." - Read the full story at

But what about all the pieces those two have dissed? Is Mihlenberger going to pay for those? What about all the buff paint and spray paint that was used?
These two are out of their minds. They were trying to get cheap publicity by crossing out murals.
